Purpose of the job:

The purpose of this position is to maintain, improve, and build In’Tech Industries strategic capability in 3D Printing.  The position supports daily operations and ensures Manufacturing can produce daily demands without interruption.

 

Level of authority:  Technical

 

Essential job functions: 

1. Support Rapid Prototype and Additive Manufacturing materials, equipment, and processes for all InTech facilities.

2. Troubleshoot and fix material, equipment, and processing issues to support Production.

3. Establish the practices, measures, and recordkeeping that demonstrate ongoing process control.  

4. Continually improve the efficiencies and accuracies of material, machines, and processes.

5. Creatively configure and use systems and technology to support customers and production.  

6. Participate in the documentation of departmental processes and work instructions.

7. Participate in collecting data for the department’s KPI’s.

8. Continuous process improvement tasks as assigned. ​

 

Essential job qualifications and requirements:

 

• High school diploma or GED required. 

• Associates degree or technical degree in electronics or computer repair a plus.

• Must have a minimum of five years of industry experience, including SLA machine installation and maintenance. 

• Demonstrated applicable technical knowledge.

• Must have comprehensive knowledge of methods and tools used for 3D printing processes and machines.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

• 3D software experience desired, specifically with  Viper Si, IPro 8000/9000 & ProX800’s

• Proficient in troubleshooting, configuration, installation and repair of electronic systems and computers, as well as a solid mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

• Occasional travel to Racine Wisconsin facility

 

Work environment:  

Work is performed in a temperature-controlled production area with a moderately loud noise level due to production machines.
